Thanks for your question. Our OEM bracket is compatible with the G900 Tripro.
If you want to install our OEM bracket but worry about the compatibility, we offer a universal solution.

1. Choose #1 bracket, and leave a note "need a metal piece" when check out.
2. Remove the original bracket, including the plastic part and the metal part on the windshield.
3. Use strong glue and paste the metal piece (flat side) to the windshield.
4. Slide in the OEM bracket and drive the screw tightly.

We were planning to produce a bracket designed for Grenadier, but we don't have the data of the original rear mirror bracket... If anyone can provide a scanned data, then I can pass it to our engineers.

The plate bracket is usually for the rear cam. You can use 3M tape to mount the front bumper cam.

Wolfbox front camera

I had wanted a front camera, I thought it would be useful if driving trails alone. Before Wolfbox offered theirs, I took an inexpensive (<$100, Amazon EWAYWiFi Magnetic Hitch Wireless Backup Rear/Front View Camera) RV monitor and tried it out. It connects wirelessly and was easy to evaluate. The magnet mount camera has 150° FOV, the Wolfbox 130 FOV. The Eway really worked easily.

I didn’t find my test all that useful on Hells Revenge and Fins-n-Things this weekend. With the large field of view, it was difficult to have a sense what I was looking at with regards to my tire trajectory. And to look at it took my attention off of where I was driving. I don’t believe the Wolfbox 130 FOV would be better. I never had a problem on the trails with camera movement, the camera stayed in position all day, the battery lasted 6 hours. I imagine driving over a bunch of sagerush would pull it off.
I was tempted to buy the new Wolfbox, but not now. Not for my purpose.

I had a front camera on my Defender and only used it in tight trails where I didn't have spotter. I would only turn it on when needed. I did find it didn't benefit going over crest but picking a path.

Replaced my 900 with the new 900 TriPro. Just confirming what may be obvious, but my two cents. I reused the power hardwire from the previous install, and the 67d bracket. I did rerun the rear camera wiring through the conduit and inside the bigger rear door as it is different than the old 900 (USB C vs mini jack). The rear camera is far superior to the original non-STARVIS one - shockingly better, in my opinion. And not sure if it is recency bias, but I believe the 900 TriPro mirror glare is reduced and display brighter as compared to the original non-Pro 900. I still cannot find a decent position for the mirror-camera image without 1/3 of the screen blocked by the ADAS shroud on the windshield. And as of right now, the front bumper camera is secured via double-sided tape and a couple wire ties until I find a better method. I did not want to use the license plate bracket as I think it will be too exposed.

One thing I have noticed is that the camera seems to go into lock mode or wi-fi mode randomly while driving. I thought it might be the shock sensitivity triggering it, so turned that off to no avail. Possibly a firmware update in the future ?

And the annoying thing (my fault) is that I did not test the new mirror before installing. I had an issue where the first TriPro did not detect either external camera, or the old 900 non-Pro camera on AUX.

Wolfbox was fantastic in getting me a replacement quickly and easily. I tested the replacement mirror and cameras on a 12v bench supply, and wanted to just use the whole "known good" setup. So I ended up running the rear camera cable a total of three times through that darn conduit. Whatever that grey gunk is in the conduit is awful. Worst part of the install.

I also experience the random lock/wifi mode switching while driving with the new TriPro Bumper version. In three instances, on startup, my tri-pro bumper version refused to recognize the rear camera. Restarting the Wolfbox resolved in each case. Otherwise, greatly enjoying the improved visibility.

Looking forward to getting this. I wish that they had included a Homelink option in the mirror as that is something the Grenadier lacks and is often in a mirror. My defender has the homelink in the camera mirror as an example.

This new 3-channel cabin monitor might be what you need. Not yet released on the Australian market. Maybe September. That gives you a forward, rear and in-cabin camera.

The cabin camera could be placed anywhere within cable length of the mirror.
For your requirement it could work well attached with some 3M VHB tape to the overhead panel and angled down so you can see how much Crypto the kids are buying on your phone.

UPDATE: For anyone having issues with the TriPro randomly switching on lock mode or WiFI...

I received some guidance from @WolfBox to disable the voice feature to see if that made a difference. About a day in, and so far no issues. Fingers crossed, and maybe something for others to try as well...

Please try to update the firmware. We add the wake-up word for voice control. As for the lock mode, you can try to set the G-sensor to low/off.

Has anyone found a “sweet spot” for the third bumper camera. Trialing spots and wanted everyone’s opinion. Also, where have you tapped into for continuous power as there are a few spots.

WOLFBOX Bumper Cam install

Hi folks,

As promised I would do a write up on my installation of the Wolfbox Tripro BUMPER cam install.

Before I start I have to give a HUGE shout out to @Loc Nar and @AndyT for their tutorials on getting me started!

I installed the Wolfbox TRIPRO Bumper cam a bit ago but could not do the front bumper cam at the time (life happened). Well I finally ran the wires to the front of the Grenadier.

Did you have to use an extension wire for the rear camera? Or is the wire that it comes with long enough ?

I did use an extension for the rear camera. I think my run was short by about 4 feet. However, using the extension allows you to swap the rear camera without refishing the cable through the rear accordion sleeve. I coiled up the extension and wire tied it inside the rear door, and made sure the connector between the two was located inside the larger rear door. I have had to replace the rear camera a couple times (once with the 900, once with the 950), so the extra $15 bucks for the extension saved me a fair amount of labour after learning the hard way.

Ok I installed it last night without the need of a an extension cable. I actually had a small fist worth of wounded up wire to tuck into the large rear door. Not sure if the 900 tripro model ships with a longer cable for the rear camera.

The g sensor appears to be excessively sensitive. I had it set to low. Simply getting out of the vehicle and closing the the cargo door put the mirror into lock mode.

If it’s this sensitive then the parking mode feature is likely useless. I may simply not connect the yellow wire
