Hi all. I have a left hand drive in the USA.

I am going to install a bull bar, and would like to add pod lights to it. I would like to have it installed on an an EXT switch. Could someone who understands this better than me validate my intentions and answer a few questions?

My current plan is:
- Pod lights to 25 Amp EXT 5 since that is the under hood one
- Scene lights on 25 Amp EXT 3
- Midland GMRS 50W on either of the 10 Amp INT 3 or 10 Amp Int 4
- I'll reserve EXT 2 for peripherals, starlink, or light bar in the future

A few questions:
- Does this seem like the right setup?
- How do I install my Baja Pods to EXT 5? Are there any connections I need to buy, or a specific style of light I should buy?
- Is there any way to get 4 scene lights without using EXT 4? If I read the diagram right, there is only 1 plug on the right side connected to EXT 3. Could I somehow splice 2 lights into one, or is there a connector that will split them into 2?
- Any suggestions on lights that are a little thinner that fit well on a bull bar?

Assuming you have high load Aux, you have two bare wire leads under the hood near the brake reservoir. Ext5 (25amp) and ext1 (10amp). Depending on the lights you choose, either will work for you. I went ahead and soldered both with DT plugs, one of which is going to replacement lights for the Aux lights in the grille, the other TBD. Ext1 took some creativity and a lot of swearing, it’s a short lead with little room to work.

Assuming your lights are not dimmable/changeable it’s as simple as pos/neg connections to one of those lead bundles.

The roof is pre wired with DT plugs. You’ll need to add DT connectors to your lights or find some that are direct connect. They do make DT splitters. Assuming your lights are low amperage, that would work to draw power from one ext lead to multiple lights.

Just FYI the plugs fitted to the IG are DTP plugs, not DT which are smaller.

Agile Offroad sells a scene light kit using 4 Baja Designs spot pros. The kit comes with wiring pre-fitted with DT connectors. The side with Ext 2 has a split harness extension so that you can run 2 lights off of one port.

Hi all. I installed the agile design scene lights. I actually purchased 2 of the passenger side lights which allowed me to install 4 lights but leave 1 of the 12 amp DT connectors open on the driver's side. As far as I can tell, they work great.

I also purchased 2 Baja Designs lp6 pro light pods to mount on my bull bar, I've been looking for wiring harnesses, but seems like all solutions are geared towards pods that replace the current fog lights. Here is where I could use some advice.

The LP6 come with 4 pin DT connectors that has a pin for High Beam, Low Beam, Amber Backlight, and Ground. I would like to use the EXT 5 25 amp to switch these on. I don't know that I care to have low beam functionality since these are offroad lights only and I will just switch them off as needed.

What is in my head right now is to splice the High Beam and backlight into the positive EXT 5 wire (purple) and the ground to the black wire. I assume I just have to splice all the lines together to get both lights working (i.e. all positives - 2 right and 2 left - into 1 positive cable to plug into the Grenadier and all negatives - 1 right and 1 left - into 1 negative cable to plug into the Grenadier).

To make matters even more confusing, I purchased the agile offroad front aux wiring harness which comes with a 3 pin triangle plug and what i assume is a green relay wire. I think that kit is actually supposed to replace the stock fog lamps. Their instructions don't even mention the green wire they include.

I'd really appreciate advice. My desired state is I hit Aux 5 and the lights and backlights come on at max brightness.

Do you think the passenger side scene light harnesses are long enough to wrap around the back? Ideally, I’d like a light out each side and two out the back.
