I am in talks purchasing a Grenny and a conversation with the salesman prompted a question. Does anyone know if the front springs are different with a factory winch installed? I was considering an aftermarket winch, but does purchasing a factory one trigger stronger front springs? I know on the Bronco Everglades they use different springs due to the weight of the winch. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I bought my Trialmaster without a winch and then added the GP Factor winch. Later, I found someone (with a factory winch) who had lifted using the Eibach, and they sold the factory springs to me. The factory winch springs added ½" of clearance back that adding the winch had caused to sag.
Ask owners who have lifted their Grenadier, or the shops who have, if they have these springs.

Did you do the springs yourself? Fairly easy job?

If you're going to add an aftermarket winch, the springs ought to not be a mechanical hurdle. if you cant do it, it's a 1 banana job at a shop that'll be 5% the total cost of the overall endeavor. dont get hung up on project minutia. Just do it.
