Don't tell them there are other warm spots in our great nation... 😅
As a born and raised Texan that lived through 30 years of August heat, trust me when I say, I’m not looking for warm. If you know of any places that are 65-75 and sunny most of the year with sub $4 gas, I’ll move tomorrow. Also no mosquitos.

Are there any cutouts or tie downs on the deck to secure a fridge?
Nothing provided.
The frame is a raised floor to create storage space. It doesn't recreate a semi-structural mounting surface the same as a drawer unit does.
The weight rating is 80kg. That will be a static rating. The decks are 8mm ply and retained with table top clamps. The rear feet, closest to the doors, are held onto the legs with a 6mm screw that goes into a thin nut in the leg track extrusion. I don't think Frontrunner intended us to attach loads onto the decks.
With some thoughtful modifications I think it can take a small fridge but not a full fridge with a slide. Those back feet would be better with a through bolt not a clamp screw. The deck attachment to the frame is not structural so tie downs should pass through the decks and loop around the frame rails. During travel I will put a strap over the top of the fridge and secure it to the D rings on the sides of the cargo space so in a hard stop the frame is not taking the dynamic load of the fridge.

Installed the Dometic/Frontrunner Grenadier Storage system and four Wolfpack Pro boxes. This is a lightweight alternative to a drawer system. It's removable by four bolts and attaches to the utility rail mounting holes (new bolts and spacers are supplied).
I have Drifta drawers with built-in fridge slide and camp table in my Isuzu DMax. They're great but a lot of dead weight and not straightforward to remove so they stay fitted and fill up with shi stuff.
With boxes I can keep them loaded with the stuff I only carry on trips and take them out when I don't need them.

The frame deck is about 560mm (~22 inches) below the cargo shelf so I can still fit my 30 litre weekender fridge on top although the lid will be restricted.
The frame is straightforward-ish to assemble. There are a couple of errors in the instructions but if you read ahead so you know what's coming you can figure it out. It was helpful that @bigleonski let me check out his setup so I had an idea what to expect. Thanks for the tips Leon (y)
A LOT of short M6 nuts and bolts so if you have sausage fingers you might need a dexterous assistant. It's the lovechild of IKEA and Meccano. I put blue Loctite on all fasteners because some will be a PITA to get to again if they come loose.

I really like that set up. Would definitely go for that but unfort my dog crate is 29" in height so cannot have the three combo of top shelf/bottom shelf and crate.

Since getting the Grenadier a little over a month ago I have been hard at work adding a bunch of accessories. This weekend I completed the biggest one in doing the GP Factor winch. It was quite a process but overall went well. Probably a 12 hour total job. I then set to work on adding a 314ah Wattcycle lithium battery, a Redarc Alpha 50 and still working on adding a 130 watt solar panel on the leitner roof rack. That should get me some good power to run a fridge and starlink mini and some scene lights for camping etc. Its a fun process but I have had a few setbacks, but overall happy with the mods.

Other mods done are :
Baja Designs Agile light Kit
Owl bull Bar
Metalcloak Diff protectors
Midland MCXT575 GRMS
CA Tuned ARB onboard air compressor
GOP Factor rear table and cutting board

Ready for my first major trip to MOab end of month for the Grenadier Gathering. Can't wait.:)

Seriously considering this setup. Not sure if I'll do both modules or just the fridge slide. The right side module looks nice but I wonder how much value it brings if I'm not running a roof conversion. A few questions for you:

- Do you feel the fridge is too high, and if not, will you be using a step?
- Will you still be able to access the baskets on the side of the fridge?
- How is the storage compared to what you had previously? It looks like a lot of small storage spaces compared to one larger space.

Love me some GP Factor so no doubt the quality is top notch.

314ah?! Can we get a build thread on this please? Here I am wondering if my 165ah battery is going to fit. Do you have a wiring diagram or anything you can share on the setup? Particularly interested in ground points for the solar and the battery, access to the roof for the solar cable, and any breakers or shutoffs used, if any.
