Over the last 2 weeks I have been testing out the Latech style ladder that Marty from Off Road Gear Guys has offered. I absolutely love the Latech style, for the Jerry can/storage option. Also styling, is to my liking. Marty acquired these late last year and has done a ton of work to make sure they had all mounting options and tie downs associated with trail needs.
The result.
A very, very well made, stainless steel, powder coated beast of a ladder.
Roughly 36 lbs, and so easy to install.
If you have a ladder already, reuse your grommets. Don’t have a ladder? Grommets included.
The top bolts are the biggest pain, but I think it’s solved with the mini ratchet from Amazon fit $9-$11. It’s a good addition to your toolbox, and I’ve suggestive for it to be included in the purchase, or a link from Amazon.
I also added RTV and an O ring to the top bolts as well for added protection against water intrusion.
Overall - 9 out of 10, solely because of the frustration the top bolts can cause to install.
The price! MUCH MUCH less than Latech… by a lot!
