What did you do with your Grenadier today?

I completed the weBoost installation yesterday, fuse-tapping off of the USB charger in the cockpit fuse box. Quite a bit of trim disassembly to hide the cable coming in from the cargo area up to the amplifier under the driver's seat. The antenna was mounted to the top of the small door ladder. Note for those thinking about the weBoost, it ships with a standard 12-v plug - if you want to hardwire it, you need to order the hardwire replacement cable separately from them and also independently purchase a fuse tap (your local auto store will have these).

I also swapped out the standard 12-volt plug that came with my SetPower fridge to a DIN-style plug to match that on my National Luna Fridge. Unfortunately the NL fridge won't fit in the Grenadier the way I wanted it to (aligned with and directly over the passenger side L-track - it's too l long), hence picking up the SetPower unit (DT-45) which is a few inches shorter and -just- fits. We'll see how it works this summer.

Next up is completing the HAM radio installation, something I've been procrastinating finishing for some time now. Will have the control unit on a ball mount at the center console, radio itself is on the GP factor c-tek mount under the rear passenger seat. Had to re-do the antenna plan, but basically up the driver's side b-pillar out the power port to the forward grab bar onto a folding mount. Hopefully complete over the weekend.
Do you have pictures of how you ran the wire through the door? I’m thinking about mounting a GMRS antenna to the ladder so that its highest point is above the roofline without using my roof rack.
