What did you do with your Grenadier today?

Replace the bonnet badge with member badge/medallion
I stoke it back on with gorilla glue before the member medallions were released. It won't come off now to change it. I have my forum membership badge on my spare wheel 🛞

I did some renovations to the house on the weekend and just did a tip run during my lunch break.
Tip fees $26.50.
Tour of the Grenadier for the operator on the gate $26.50.
We decided to call it even and I drove in and dumped what was needed.
Thanks Ineos.
We have to pay on the way out. After being weighed .

I thought we had it bad, but obviously not aa bad as you. Domestic household rubbish ( including renovation rubbish but excluding farm waste) is free, even using a trailer but you must book a tip time slot days in advance. Our Domestic household road side bins are monitored on emptying and if rubbish that contravenes that bin designation ( we have 3 bins, paper, plastic and metal, and non recyclable) it is not uplifted.

We have 2 wheelie bins, normal rubbish (weekly) and recycle (fortnightly)
Recycle and green waste is also free at the tip, unless you are a company such as gardener or lawn mower.
There is a weight limit on the wheelie bins and it is less than a Landcruiser gearbox

It is a transfer station, not a landfill.
They only take cash and you don't get a receipt.
Oh we've got one of those on Bruny Island. The fee is "discretionary" , depending upon the nature of the conversation.
Deffo no receipts!

Not "today", but Friday... Did a lot of winching while scouting a property with some good friends... The plan is to develop part of this property into dedicated off road trails, so we were finding routes and jumping between previous logging "trails" (what I'm winching onto in this photo)

I installed a removable rubber mat on top of my diabolical drawers.

Works great, cut to shape and doesn't move around.

Only problem is that it stinks... I should have aired it out for a couple of days before installing it, smells like tar.

Easily cut to shape with a trim knife or a razor blade

Completed my middle shelf, fully installed now. Getting the full length required assembly in the car. The plywood also needed to be in 2 pieces. It is mounted to my kaon side panels and has a plywood middle support.
Shelf space is 440mm deep, 1430mm wide, and a height between shelves of 235mm. Perfect to allow front runner cub boxes or front runner soft bags.

This system has added roughly 125kg
Homemade draw unit - 26.5kg
Slideitsolutions Fridge slide - 8kg
Bushman 35-52 fridge - 24.5kg
Kaon upper shelf and side molle panels - 20kg
35litre water tank behind drawers - 40kg full
New shelf and support 6kg

Next up some interior lighting.

Keep us Mid-Atlantic folks posted. Would love to volunteer to help out with some sweat equity. No winch yet but as long as you're there to pull me out if needed... Lol!

There should be several updates coming in the next few months regarding local-ish properties to our area, some big and good things are coming
