IMHO GR Supra shifter is much more appealing than the BMW one that came on the Grenadier…..I suspect that the market value on used GR Supra shifters has recently gone up?

There are not really that many on EBay at the moment.

ok.... I thank you on the behalf of all (2 maybe?) of the people on this forum that couldn't figure out what shift lever I was referring to.

I am not sure how many gearbox manufacturers would make shifters but I like what the BMW Alpina have created here for the ZF 8HP76 variant. That would sit nicely beside the 8 ball not that the Gren shifter concerns me at all​

Shift dynamics and comfort​

Power is transmitted by a ZF 8-Speed Sport Automatic Transmission, 8HP76 generation, specifically adapted to the high-torque drivetrain. Manual gear changes are performed using the classic ALPINA SWITCH-TRONIC shift buttons or optional ALPINA aluminium shift paddles.

The ribbon is far easier to deal with than the video shows, John threaded the Grenadier ribbon up and behind the Supra shifter circut board when he could have removed the board, it just comes out at that point.

There are not really that many on EBay at the moment.

They are readily available new for $175-$195 from Toyota.

Not really. They can be had for $139 new and despite urban myth most of the parts interchange.
