So the difference is a couple of zip ties over to the main wiring harness? face-palm-smiley.gif

These are the same cables, tied up differently in another vehicle with a VIN just under 3000 - so it looks like lessons have been learnt; just not sure if they will be retrospectively applied to earlier vehicles or not?

This looks ugly.

Ugly in a technical context, not as a question of beauty.

Dear Jean, it looks like you have more French genes, not only in your name, than is helpful for technical matters. 😜

Perhaps it's just an immediate line fix whilst the full on engineering solution goes through the mill.

If you have a look, in a number of areas of cabling, some seem too long and others seem too short.

In this instance, there seems too much cable to go from point A to point B. A shorter loom length would be the ideal solution.

And some unfortunate consequences of low hanging cables:

So anyone reading this that hasn't already been underneath their vehicle and checked for the low hanging cables, and will be doing so immediately after breakfast, don't forget to make a note of your coil spring colours, front and rear; and post the results here:

😜

Already on the first day I had put the Grenadier on the lifting platform and inspected it closely in this respect. On my vehicle, everything was neatly and cleanly laid.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone who receives their vehicle. Remember emax, who had his Grenadier checked in Vera and Christian's workshop. It didn't look good either. Even though both of them always exaggerate a bit in their wording. But that's business, oh my God! ;)

I looked at the display vehicle at my dealer a few months back and the cable to the sender on the sump was hanging down and the fitting to it was the wrong way around, which was the cause of the hanging. Definitely get under and have a good look, I can wait for bash plates tbh, reduce the instance of snagging a cable in the bush.
