Under dash UHF radio install

Whenever I need something bent (folded) (3 or 4 mm aluminum, 3 mm stainless, or 4, 6, or 10 mm mild steel), I always go to my local metalworking shop. They have the material I need, and they have a 200-ton press brake with which they can bend or fold the workpieces according to my specifications.
I would do the same if a workshop was nearby. Most of my working life I have to improvise, as we are tide dependent for access on and off with a boat. And my home is a village with no workshops for a few miles. I like DIY solutions when I can.

I have most of my tools and some aluminum scrap leftover from some experimental aircraft projects, so I was able to knock out this radio install by myself. I really appreciated how Ineos has made the interior easy to disassemble and reinstall, and put the pass through holes and grommets in the firewall for us. This forum is also a great resource, and reminds me of the forums in the experimental aircraft world. Feel free to take my photos to your local metal fab shop and/or the several Grenadier after market vendors and have them reproduce a bougie bracket for you.
