I have an oil leak coming from the small turbo, I just got back from having the springs changed, and popped my head under to check the prop shaft angle the lower radius arm was wet with oil and its dripping down from the turbo area. Given how hot these things get I daren't drive it to the dealer so I'm getting it towed. Performance has been fine so I suspect its not the turbo internals and more likely an oil feed pipe that is leaking...

Anyone heard of this happening?

Just had the call out guy here, as I suspected it's a leak from the oil feed pipe to the top turbo. Faulty part...

I still haven't got the login for the workshop manual so I can't get the part number yet. hopefully it comes quickly, I am taking my daughter on a trip in a weeks time.

First I have heard of an oil leak from a line feeding the turbo. Definitely something I will be checking for during my usual inspections.

I haven't heard of one either, I've just been unlucky I think. It just a drip, and the oil level is still fine so hopefully no harm done.

It was the turbo oil feed line that was replaced and no issues since. I was able to drive it only because it was a weep rather than a leak and I would have one or two drops on the carport floor over night. I had to wait about a week for the part , I carry oil so just keep and eye on the dipstick (y)

On 11 May another guy posted a video in an Australian FB group of an oil leak from the pressure line banjo of the lower turbo.

I think that’s the upper one same as mine… we thought it was the banjo at first but it is coming from the pipe under the heat shield.

Hopefully the extremly high charged turbo shaft got no damage. The oil is very important to center and cool it.

Keep an eye on it. Check the turbine blades if they face abrasion.

I’ll get them to check that. I think it will be ok, its just a drip and that pipe will supply a lot of oil, so most of it will have been going over the turbo.

I wrote that once...hopefully the translation is ok....

Just noticed that the pic I grabbed from his post is not the same as the video he posted. Agree that pic is the upper turbo. In his video he zooms down to the lower turbo and highlights some smoke and oil.
