Transmission Fluid Replacement and Transmission Oil Pan

Copy all @scottg! Thanks for diving into this. I’ll probably do similar to you and then at 40-50k miles just replace the pan with the BMW X3 pan/filter for now.

I noticed that support molded in as well. Need to find a standalone dual riser filter assembly now, along with the AL pan.

The aerospace/motorsports engineer in me agrees and respects the NASA intuition you have.
Why are useable part numbers so difficult to track down and trust? Would be great to confirm that *all* filters that have dual port are the same dimensions and performance spec, and can be purchased separately from the pans.

If we can get a dual port Grenadier / ZF filter to manufacturers who make the aluminum pans, maybe they'll be willing to mod their designs to support them, since they should still be backward compatible with single port uptake filters.
