I installed mine today. A bit of an effort because I tried to get everything perfect. Mostly did except what’s the best plan of attack on the side by the height lift lever?

Hello,
I have received all the seat covers for my Grenadier, really great quality.

When fitting them, however, I failed to work out which belt goes where on the front seats. Are there any photos of which belts have to go where?

And: I routed the three long seat belts forward under the seat, but I'm worried that there might be problems with the seat heating cables.
Hi there,

Please see below, not specifically a photo of the underneath of an IG but very similar.

What the photo shows is the cross bar, in the IG it might be more towards the front but would
look very similar to what is shown in the attached. The long webbing loops over this bar and then attaches to the ladder lock.

Let me know if these help.

This is an image of the crossbar , the webbing must loop under and then over and back to the ladder lock buckle.

Webbing looped over the cross bar and attached to the ladder lock buckle.

Please let me know if this makes sense.
Thanks,
Tatum

Hi there,
The webbing strap tucks in between the plastic and the edge of the seat and gets fed through to the rear of the seat where it gets attached to the ladder lock on the bottom corner of the backrest seat cover.
Does this make sense?
Thanks
Tatum

I'm looking forward to my set. A quick Youtube installation video might be helpful. Just something short showing where the straps would go. Just a thought.
Hi there,

Yes, 100% agree with you! We are visiting the dealership later this week so i will get on that asap. If anyone else has any fitment questions, please ask so i can do a clip on the specific questions.

Thanks for all the feedback, really appreciate it.
Tatum

Installed my Tougher set today (Front seat/Rear seat/Center console/Dash - Grey). Couldn't be more pleased. Fit and construction are terrific. Installation effort was as expected (1:20hr or so) with a big thanks to this forum for fitting tips (and the Toyota Tougher fitting vid on YouTube).

I'm curious how these fit compared to the stock seat covers. My new truck has the stockers and the front seat bottom pieces won't stay in place and constantly have to be refitted. Very disappointing.

There are lots of complaints on the forum regarding the OEM covers. Bad fitment, sliding, not staying put, etc…

Consensus seems to be that the two South African brands: Melvill & Moon and Tougher are the way to go.

Tatum, they look very smart and look to fit extremely well. I assume they will be very hardy as well.

Hi there, yes, it is the same fabric as the charcoal fabric in the video which is the tough polycotton. Hard wearing, durable and water resistant.
Thanks
Tatum

Hi again,
Here are two short reels of the of the Tougher Seat Covers in the Light Khaki polycotton fabric.
I hope this gives more clarity on what they look like on. A lot of you have been dealing with Bryan, you will see him in the video. It helps to put a face to a name. :)
Check out these two reels of the Light Khaki color option here and here.
Thanks
Tatum

I had to go out of town for a week and when I returned, my Tougher Seat Covers had arrived.

The installation of the first front seat was a bit of a struggle, but the second front seat went pretty easy after I had learned a few things. Back seat covers went in without a hitch.

Overall, I am really pleased with the quality, color, texture, etc. And, I now have nice canvas tote back to boot.

@bamanuke can you give any feedback on the Khaki seat covers? This is the color I think I want, but not sure since I have Magic Mushroom.
