Group photo #123 (or so) out of 789 (or so). Look how clean the trucks are: you can tell they are of different colors!

I was lucky enough to join- Aaron does a great job at planning and finding amazing back roads. The rest of the party are a bunch of really good folks that made the trip that much better.

Ok, ok, ok... let's give credit where credit is due. This trip was the brain child of @tonyherrera527 I just helped a little.

I am not going to even bother competing with journalism skills of @pmatusov ... I'll just add a few photos and a huge thanks to those who came along. Way way way too much fun was had.

On the way north:

Mileage milestone on the 5 north:

Quick top off in Ferndale:

@tonyherrera527 picked a great Ferndale breakfast spot:

How many Grenadiers can you spot?

As Peter said... we kept waiting... it never happened!

Yeah, yeah... it's pavement. With views like this, who cares!

Pictures with my lovely wife. Because... well... because she's lovely.

Leaving Matolle Beach headed towards Windy Point

The fog stayed just off the beach all afternoon, evening, night and morning. The next day, into the fog we go!

As we dropped down towards Windy Point, the wind push the fog back.

Heading back up the hill to continue our journey

Usal Beach:

As @pmatusov mentioned, the Grenadier is fantastic in the sand. @Burrero and I made it almost all the way across the beach in 4L CDL locked at street tire pressures (36psi cold for me). Of course, as soon as we stopped moving that was it... buried to the frame in moments. We all aired down... and... voila!!! just drove right out of the holes we had dug. At low pressures (I like 15psi) it was easy peasy driving on the sand.

Beautiful camp spot!

FISH TACOS it's what's for dinner!!
