No idea who the presenter is, have seen a couple of his videos before. He reminded me of the videos we had to watch at school as a very young child and then the Open University programs that used to be shown over night for people to record. These were often people with beards in white lab coats (or at least they were in the comedy sketches).

My point is that his boring/non-sensational style is refreshing for the Internet and far more useful and educational. One I watched was on the use of locking diffs and his little model cars

That's the one I was thinking of, I had 'Alas Smith & Jones' in my head, although they may have done a skit too

I have a feeling water sat in the intercooler, which is at or lower than the sump, I think (pure conjecture of course) water has entered the intake while being towed across and they inspected it and started the motor and thought it was ok, it wasn't until Athur accelerated out of the dip in the road (in the video) the water ( just enough to sit in the bottom of the intercooler and allow air to pass over it) has then been forced up from the bottom of the intercooler and into the engine. We know they left Chilli Beach and were on way to Gordon Creek as thats were it was towed to (23klms from Chilli Beach) * end of expert opinion
