Sorry @DenisM. Not at all. You just happened to have the last post above mine! Your explanation was fine.

I'm trying to break the chain on this one. I'm not directing my comments at any individual. My goal was to simply hold up a mirror and invite everyone to look into it. We all have our opinions but the comments towards John are turning personal. That's not how this place is supposed to operate.

Rubbish. You are not the person "to break the chain". Canny knowingly published mistruths and lies that most likely have cost Ineos professional reputation. Thankfully, the push back using reason and logic was strong, and this forum was part of that.

In the earlier Canny Cape York video where you see the crossing, the video has been edited after the original posting. When I watched it the first time they start the engine and you hear the engine (and it sounded awful). The version now on YouTube has had the engine noise edited out. I have known this for about 10 days but I wanted confirmation. This has now been confirmed by someone else who posted the same thing on YouTube.

Moreover, you do not see Arthur's car cross the river, you do not see Arthur's car go over the max wading depth and Arthur had information back in September about the cause and did not disclose it.
