yeah, but they are trying to sell a solution and do so by setting the record straight.I thought that the sorry saga was over. Then these chaps come along trying to get some more clicks.![]()
If I were John, well I am, but a different one, I'd be keeping my head down for a while - but I agree with you.Fair point. Would be great though if John Canny set the record straight

Wasn't the second one on CSR tied to getting stuck in mud and water at around 700mm. That water never got in engine but because it sat in water for 4 days, it's consider a goner? We got to get through the US and Euro video editorials and the usual Aussie reviews yet. With two water related incidents reported on in the last week this topic going to be getting creators views and revenue for some time.
nice bow wave and no where near as deep as Arthur went. Here’s a Grenadier crossing some fast flowing water in Oman

That is classic and yes unnerving...Who's the white guy?Yes that would be unnerving
I got towed across a flooded tributary of the Luangwa River many years ago. I was in my friends series 3 Landrover with no snorkel. I was towed across by a landcruiser with doors taken off and improvised raised air intake. The water was above the seat base and just flowed through the vehicle as it drove through. I floated in the Landrover. It was a 2-1/4 petrol engine and we wrapped all important bits up in plastic before the crossing. I can attest that floating is unnerving even when being towed!
I’ve found a picture before we fashioned the raised air intake for the Landcruiser. Landrover behind.
Bloody hell I look young there Makes me realise how I’ve aged
