Stuck at Cape York

I just watched part 3 while having a morning tea break. Unfortunately you can't see any footage of the 4th vehicle crossing
The first three have snorkels/RAI's and it looks pretty deep.
Unfortunately no footage of the 4th vehicle was taken.
It would have been interesting to see how a vehicle with no snorkel or RAI handled water this deep.
The video just cuts to a splash screen with a simple large statement with an !!!!!!

I give it 10 days and there will be another video from the US YouTuber My Ineos obsession. Follow by TFL with breaking news. This is not going away until Ineos PR shuts it down. I don't think they owe us anything but from a PR standpoint either they need to step up or someone needs to take a new Prado/LC set it on fire. Then say it was a hybrid issue
There has been a LC250 fire in the last week in Australia. That had a comment free for all which is the norm for any Toyota misfortune here in Australia. No brand is immune from creator videos or crucifixion by comments. Even Fords release of the Ranger Superduty in Australia has copped the comment and video flogging.

I think they chose not to include it. Regardless the 4th car was on the track and it had to make the river crossing. You see the cars together later.

That was a strange message to post, but doors and vans have seals, the airbox much less so, especially if you have no RAI. Again none of the posted videos addresses, talks about or even mentions the cars going over the max wading depth - the silence is deafening.

1st day of summer
11:45 am and only 33 degrees
getting down to 19 tonight/tomorrow at 4:00 am

I think they chose not to include it. Regardless the 4th car was on the track and it had to make the river crossing. You see the cars together later.

I feel you might be right and maybe the 4th vehicle footage ended up...as they say.....on the cutting room floor.

14.7 degrees and cycling through heavy rain and sunshine in Melbourne and its the first day of summer! Who says climate change aint real! (Four seasons in one day, lying in the depths of your imagination, worlds above and worlds below, the sun shines on the black clouds hanging over the domain....)
 
The result of a hydrolock in this old polaroid I had of a Volvo THD101 horizontal dry sump engine in a bus that had an environmental failure through knee deep fresh water at around 2000rpm. No1 punched through both sides of the block, crank cam and the oil pumps were all destroyed.

A very interesting comment appeared on the John Canny YouTube video that showed the trucks wading the river. The author claims to have spoken to individuals that were on the trip and that the group is basically coving up what actually happened to help the owner collect insurance. It does explain why we haven’t heard from anyone on that trip here on the forums.

Gotta say that if this is true then I hope Mr. Canny gets a good serving of karma.

Well that certainly rams a stake into the heart of the whole sorry story.
But I suspect the final paragraph hasn't been written.
Once again it appears IA is behaving as professionally as many of us have believed them to be.

I did something similar once in 1969 to a Morris 1100 at 11.30 pm on a frosty mid-winter's night 30 miles north of Canberra where I was headed.. . 5700rpm in top gear . about 80mph. And I was nowhere near water😈

Its interesting that all the pics put up show the Grenadiers leaning to the right where the intake is. So, if one was faced with a similar crossing and had no other way around, having observed the first crossings would it have been wiser to do the crossing in reverse and have the intake on the higher side? I appreciate there may be challenges in terms of the gearing but reverse is a low gear anyway???
