Starter Battery Drain; How to stop ECU's etc from consuming battery when door opens?

- I constantly hear a high-pitched beeping sound from a control unit

-> When this occurs, the SOC has also dropped significantly. SLEEP mode does not seem to work here, but the question is which control unit
I have the same and described it before somewhere here. I noticed, that this does not occur when i turn the ignition on again for a second after shutting down the engine.
I don't what is causing this, i would call it a high frequency Sound, barely noticable.

Hi, thx for your answer. so much content here.... :-)

I also can notice this high frequency sound even unlocking the IG... very strange. may a find the time to identify the area and other things around this.

replaced it with a Redarc ALPHA 50 R
They seem so be hard to find on the web. Can you tell where you have bought yours and what the price was?

Hi, yes. I orderd the REDARC in Germany @GPC offroad, but also Taubenreuther is a dealer.
The mounting bracket I ordered from GP Factor from the US.
I can post some photos if I find a bit time :-)

That high pitched noise sounds loudest by the rear left hand wheel (diesel). Maybe fuel lift pump?

I notice the high-pitched sound on left of the vehicle too when locked. I routinely experience up to 20% battery loss overnight if I forget to double-lock it.
I recently had a loan vehicle as mine had more issues to resolve. This loan vehicle had the same problem! Mine does not. I felt it was something to do with the power steering, electrically powered for sure (e.g., could occur with engine off) and when moving the steering wheel you would here this change… perhaps related to power steering>

I’m having pretty significant issues with my factory 2battery set up. Overnight with the car locked, no auxiliary power going out or anything I can lose up to 10% on the dual battery system. Last night it was 72, wake up to drive down at 63. It’s also charging at a rate of amps quite often 2 A or less… and furthermore I’m struggling to ever see more than 82%… But when I first got the car it was in the high 90s

My car is going back to the dealership, I have to get this solved. I travel a lot and the two battery set up was a big selling point…
Not sure if this has been fixed yet, but i had similar issues, which were solved when i switched my batteries. Then i replaced the ctek system with a redarc alpha r to manage my solar and aux battery, but the drain and poor alternator charging was already solved. The pictures don’t appear to be working on the thread you posted. Would be interested in seeing what you did!
