Can't find if this has been posted. But where does the system get road limits from? Half the time they are wrong.

Motorways, A roads, country lanes. I've had it telling me it's 5mph when it's 60. 60 when it's 40. In Wales there's lots of 20 zones. Sometimes road goes from 60 to 30 then 20, sometimes from 60 to 20. It created confusion at times.

They're probably relatively new speed limits in Wales, but outside my house it shows 30 when it's been a 40 for decades.

This is in the UK. I use Google maps most of the time. But how can it be so wrong? Mine is a new car, 2025 build.

Speed Limit displayed on center screen comes from camera that “reads” signs posted alongside the roadsides.

There are base maps that the truck defaults to. Then when it sees a sign it will update to that speed. It does not have a memory beyond the base maps. To use this feature you will need to get your base maps updated by the dealer when speeds have been changed. This doesn't help though if your system is malfunctioning of course.

Thanks. I'll contact them as noone else seems to have this issue
