Hi, has any of you managed to disconnect the grey and brown 8-pin connectors under the dash/steering column from the audio unit? I’m trying, in vain, for a few days to disconnect these two connectors and it’s very difficult, I cannot see what I’m doing. Any tips how to make this work? Thanks

They are difficult. The clip you can see on the LH side of the plug.

I know, I’ve been trying to press it and pull the connector at the same time but no luck so far.

I think it's called a quad lock plug. That tab on the left side is the lock.Try pressing it down/into the head unit to unlock it then wriggle the plug out without pulling on the harness. At the same time push in on the back of the plug with your other hand to take some pressure off the lock.
You could also try inserting a small flat blade screwdriver into the slot in the back of the tab to push it in.

It might also need to be pushed to the right towards the harness. One of those two actions should release it.

Thank you Clark, I’ll give it a try. I was pressing the lock towards the 8 pin, not pressing in, hopefully this will help now.
