Just for shorten the waiting time:
As some will know I'm a volunteer firefighter. We've procured an aerial ladder last year, so I had to build a 1/87 RC-model. The first pic is the original one just for clarification, the second is the 1/87 model.
And for your entertainment a short video: 1/1 meets 1/87

I'm the guy sitting on the ladder at the right with a cap on the not-so-hairy head.
In fact, I've missed taking pictures while construction😬.
