I just can't imagine the safari bars being that strong clamping down on the grab handle rather than screwing into the subframe.
Compare that roof rack mount with another EU mount -the bison gear mount and you immediately see how much stronger the attachment to the vehicle is.
Since the load system you are using introduces a pivot point that acts like a hinge with a long arm I seems to me that you'll put a lot of load on the bar itself and on the mount to the roof. I would venture to make that as strong as I possibly could.
