Ronny Dahl Bought a Quartermaster

I find some of the editing of his videos a bit annoying but he seems a decent bloke and his reviews are generally pretty honest I think, he reports pros and cons and actually says what he thinks.

Totally agree.

Sensible content and none of that know it all arrogance you often see.

It must take weeks to produce a 12 minute video made up mostly of 1 second clips.
Good

After 6 days the video is already over 212,000 views.

Quite a few comments saying they bought an IG after watching Ronny's earlier videos on the Grenadier. Even die hard Toyota fans are thinking about one, that is a huge change.
I'm definitely considering a Grenadier to replace my Hdj79 I have had since new. Toyota put the wrong engine with the 2.8l in the new 79 and made it back into a live axle Hilux LN106 or Bundera cab chassis. Always bought or chose Land Cruisers or Patrols for work because of the 6 cylinder or V8 engines.

It seems like just yesterday TIF thought he a bought and paid for toyota scrote shill that always had advertisers in mind, and now we see he's the sole fearless, unbiased automotive social media influencer on the planet.

Tq isn't sentient. It doesn't know it's origin.

As a longstanding Toyotaphile influencer he's navigating a difficult route, which risks losing viewers but with a view to more views.
Staying purely Toyota would be like taking the chicken track.
His approach is great for us Aussies and should get him plenty of O/S exposure.
Good man!

I'm looking forward to seeing what he does - I generally put a bit of credit in what he has to say.

He is doing a lot, he describes many things on his list in the 4WD Podcast, posted up the page - starting around the 5:30 mark.

It is clear now why he bought a QM, rather than the cab chassis. Ronny will re-configure the rear in several ways, over time.

Yep - I'm very much looking forward to watching the evolution.
