I installed a Wolfbox rear view camera at the top of the inside rear window on the large door. Often when it rains or snows the upper part of my rear window where the camera is located gets coated in rain or snow and I can't see out as well. Of course I use my rear wiper but I wondered if I added a rear spoiler does it have enough overhang to help minimize the water from obscuring my vision? First world problem for sure.

It may but then you offer up a different problem, rain turbulence. Total guess but the rain would slide off the spoiler and then become turbulent behind the spoiler creating a crappy view.

My L663 had a rear view camera that was encased mounted on the roof. Rain driving on highway, created a distorted view as the speed wrapped water around the case and met at the camera

Have both and the wiper has always been the fix. I am in the DC area and have not noticed any snow build up the few times I was out in the weather.
