Hi everyone,

about the rear view camera (reversing camera) I have a question. My Grenadier, model year 2023, displays the following image when reverse gear is engaged: the camera image overlay is significantly smaller than the monitor would allow. A clear border can be seen at the top and bottom. The camera image is very small. Please see attached image.

When searching on YouTube, you will find a different image for some newer models of the Grenadier. Here you can see that the rear view camera image takes up the entire centre screen from top to bottom. The rear view camera image is therefore significantly larger, which makes navigation easier.

Is it possible to get the larger camera image on my car through a software update?

Thank you very much for your help.

Best regards,
David

As a matter for fact, this camera view is not the only part of the software which depends on the model year.
The hole screen field apart from the metering section, is more efficient used in the model 2024.
i.e. the menue folds away and gives more space for the map view.
I assume its depending on the device configuration (firmware) itself, not only the application software.
