Hello everyone;) I was finally able to pick up my grenadier yesterday🥳 Unfortunately, I noticed at home that my power steering makes a strange noise. I think it's not a normal noise, or? The filling level in the container was at maximum with the engine warm but switched off. The German instructions do not say exactly in which condition the oil should be checked. Does anyone have an idea? I tried to post a video but I always see the file is too big (7mb)
Thank you;)

So the difference in fluid between min and max is 54.5 ml. What if the overflow capacity is in the cap itself?

I should also note, with this type of setup my research revealed that once air is in the system it doesn't leave nearly as quickly as a system with a return line to the tank. That is due to "excess" oil being recirculated back into the suction side of the pump. So simply adding more oil isn't necessarily going to fix the whine once it has started. And in theory if air has entered the system topping the oil could create more head pressure and as a result make cavitation worse. I have 3d printed a new reservoir cap with an inspection port for my bore scope so will be interesting to record the results. Luckily the scope is long enough I can drive and record.
