Has anyone else experienced a few second delay on their phone calls when connected wirelessly through CarPlay? It briefly corrected itself when I updated the iOS software on my phone but has returned. I was talking to my buddy the other day while he was driving his Grenny and we realized that he has the same issue when we kept talking over one another lol. Anyone else? If so, any remedies that have worked?

Haven't experienced that one. Nov ‘24 Delivery and latest iOS18 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have had the typical bad connections sometimes that's resolved by hanging up and calling back again. But I've had that happen in other vehicles so IMO not specific to Grenadier.

I’m experiencing it now after just having had a software update on the truck. Big lag when i’m on Carplay and frequent disconnections during calls. I’m having to switch to speaker phone or bluetooth only.

There’s also a lag on streaming audio from the phone. For example, music and private continue to play for ~two seconds after i hit the pause button.

Hi, no I have not had the time delay on phone calls but when using google maps it freezes at low speeds just when you need it, any ideas

Exactly the same issues on my car. Makes using the phone completely unusable. Full delay, and bad microphone resulting in bad connections to the other end. I resorted using Apple AirPods as well.

My car is going back to the dealer for a week for a few issues including this. As far as I’m concerned it’s unusable and a feature I paid for… Just another one I’m having problems with.

What is interesting, is that I explicitly tested this when I did the test drive, because I’m travelling for work a lot I need this connection. When I tested it it worked perfectly in the vehicle I was trialling, there’s an ongoing issue with mine.

I am experiencing dropped calls, etc. The signal is fine, and the phone works great on speaker or normally - just not at all on Car Play through the infotainment system. I am going in for my second service - and I am assuming some software update for the overfill and possibly getting the clicks turned off. Anyone had any luck getting this resolved.

I was considering getting a WeBoost - but I don't think the signal is the problem.

I'm having an irregular car play connection problem.

Happens most often first thing in the morning and needs the bluetooth switching off and on again on the phone before it connects. Trying to connect from the car results in a bluetooth time out error message and manually connecting on the phone results is a cant connect please ensure your are in range and device is discoverable message.

Deleting the pairing and repairing and also resetting the communication parameters in the car hasn't fixed the problem.

Upgrading from IOS18 to IOS 26 hasn't halped. and I'm using both an iphone 16 pro and SE2.

Other than that everything works and I'm having no call quality problems.

Cheers
Steve
