Apple Carplay has disappeared….

Hi,
Apple Carplay was working fine and has now disappeared and despite all efforts, I just cannot get it back.
I am moderately techie but this has beaten me!
Bluetooth is connected and my phone works OK, Carplay is “on” on my iPhone.
Has anyone else had the same issue and if so, what was the resolution?

Try deleting the profile and re-pair the connection. Also make sure wifi is turned on.

Have you tried it with a cable connection instead of wireless since you lost it? Try setting it up with a cable again first.

Doesn't the phones hot spot need to be turned on as well?

try to delete the Ineos connection from your Bluetooth settings on the IPhone. Then try to pair again.

It did this to me yesterday. Deleting the phone from the Grenadier, from within the device menu and then putting it back on worked.

Have you turned off Siri? You need it, otherwise the pairing won't work. At least that was the case for me.

I tried all of the advice - and had tried many of these already - then I did a Hard reset of my iPhone and it is all back to normal!

No, more than that, rapidly press volume up, then volume down and then leave your finger on the button on the right and after maybe 10 seconds the screen goes blank (finger off the button) you see the Apple logo and the phone re-starts.
