Just got access. Had a quick browse. Yikes.

Usability is circa-1999 (clumsy nav, no indication of clicks, left constantly wondering if anything is happening).

Speed? Think 14.4K dial-up modem, with line noise and a roommate who picks up the shared phone line constantly.

Unreliable. Plenty of pages simply fail to load. Blank screen. Occasionally a forever-spinning "loading" indicator. And refreshing a forever-loading page sometimes kicks me back out to the login screen. Sometimes.

There's no obvious way to practically download "the manual" for home/garage/offline/travel use. There may be a URL scheme or something else helpful to exhaustively crawl content, so fingers crossed someone figures out how to automate a complete download and render to PDF. Take my money.

When pages do load, they look reasonable enough:

Big companies like Caterpillar have the same issues with their interactive 3D manual and parts systems especially on tablets and phones. Having too many other apps/programs open in the background, location and some fire walls, virus protections slow interactive images even more. If it's got a full interactive wiring diagram those parts of the manuals are generally slow to keep up.

You wanted old school, you got it , including the clunky manual.
It is what it is. The only available Idiot's Guide to The Grenadier will be published in an exceedingly unofficial manner on this forum.
That will take time.

Ha. Fair enough. I wanted pre-internet old school on paper, though!

I think a lot of us are on that page. Just not IA. 🤷🏻‍♂️

“It’s a revenue thing.”

This is exactly what I am waiting for. I want sections available on a PDF format that I can download, and reference when needed. I don't plan on rebuilding the motor or transmission, but want to know what wires go where, or what part of the cooling system part number needs to be ordered when one gets damaged. Simple things like wheel alignment specs, and other important service items.

There is already a wealth of info
Rok_Dr's unofficial manual and under the Resources section of the forum.
PDF city!

now you got what you wanted so badly you don’t know what to do with it.
Can only speak for myself but an app that only works with an internet connection isn’t what I “wanted so badly.” 🤷🏻‍♂️

Without feedback otherwise, IA might get the wrong impression. Truck is great. Manual sucks.
