No need to spend a lot on a tailgate table!!

Made this for the tailgate on my station wagon. Hope it might inspire others if in need of a project for evenings and weekends. Cheap to make, no rattles and perfectly functional.

Sorry Folks, don’t know how but I posted a thread twice and couldn’t work out how to delete this one. Same title 30 minutes earlier has the pics. If anyone knows how to delete a post then please share.
 
I let AI design me a field secretary.
The measurements are guessed by me so don’t look at them.
Nevertheless I like the design.
Majestic! Sustainable timber? Honduras mahogany with high chatoyancy perhaps?

You say no need to spend a lot of money, but if I had done that it would look more like Homer Simpson had done some DIY, I went for the paid option by Bison 🤣🤣
 
Another one for the DIY would produce somethng less than ideal, so I went with the Amazon, repurposing a Jeep offering,
