New Year Service Overdue Bug

It's a small sticker the size of 2 postage stamps on the inside of the windscreen in the very top rh corner (driver's side down under and the UK) so it's completely out of the normal line of site...

On another tack .
Am wondering if this snafu may be associated with software update xxxx689002940. It wasn't an issue 2023/2024 nor 2024/2025. Trouble is I can't quite remember when the xxx689002940 upgrade from xx689001936 was completed...🤔
The sticker completely blocks my view of one of the seagulls flying over.
I can see the other 99

Dealer reset fixes the problem, until next year?

I’m really hoping (unrealistically) that they’ll get smart and release a software update we can install ourselves through the USB port that will fix this, allow for future service resets, and turn off the stupid speed warning. I love this truck truly, but the software is horrible. I haven’t had my software updated to the latest fix because I’m 5 hours away from the closest dealer. This is a chance for them to enable the owner and save themselves a lot of money due to warranty claims and hours paid to dealers.
This is growing increasingly important, and I strongly agree. INOES has 5 things forming a perfect storm of technology challenge:

1. Immature software causing lots of problems
2. Inability to perform OTA updates, requiring long dealership visits (5+ hours estimated for mine)
3. A comparatively small dealer network, requiring long drives for many customers
4. They marketed the vehicle as built like they used to build them, with the minimum viable technology. Unfortunately, gov’t regs make that a fairly thick software layer.
5. Lack of availability of a customer-accessible solution to reset diagnostics.

The current situation is not viable long-term. Hopefully, this issue benefits customers by causing a re-think of some fundamentals at INEOS Automotive.

It is possible to have one of the best built qualities on the market, and still not be a viable vehicle to own. Luckily, the issues have been minor thus far. But if a similar issue hits that bricks vehicles… they’re done.

Talked to dealer about getting mine resolved they said all of the truck on lot have it so add about 45 too that list... lol

From the Forum responses so far 97.4% of the world population of INEOS vehicles are probably affected.

Has anyone yet been able to get a dealer simply to reset the service date? I image that will solve the problem at least until year end. I also haven't yet heard any theories why this happened this year but didn't happen last year - perhaps it is a feature of non-leap years only.

I had my local dealer reset my New Years bug/service alert yesterday. It’s not displaying the code error anymore, but I suspect that this will happen again if there isn’t a software update from INEOS sometime before next year. It fully reset to 365 to service and 12k miles to service, which isn’t a great fix for those who are in the middle of their service interval, but I have my actual next service written down and I usually do my service every 6k miles which is easy to do without a warning light.

Was proof provided of the 6410? Maybe it was read with a hangover, no coffee or glasses after a big NYE?
A photo that I checked twice. It looks real, not like the one I was thinking of making up at 9999. Then the next day it will click over to 0000 and I would get first and last.

The spread of numbers is puzzling. One popular theory from yesterday was that the car woke up on 01/01/2026 thinking it was 01/01/2032 and adjusted the counter accordingly. However if this was the case all the new dates should still be within one year of each other (unless the car was already overdue for a service) and therefore the minimum and maximum numbers should not differ by more than 365.

The fact that they do suggests that the simple 2032 theory is not wholly correct.
