New Year Service Overdue Bug

I'm not bothered by the service message, but by the fact that the heated seats don't work in January with negative temperatures.

I googled battery bum warmer and they do make them.

Just to keep the table up to date, you can add me in at 2069. Out of our local owners group. Initially 2 members had no issue but one had it happen today, two days late

The ECU controller and the interface software for them would come from whoever made the bits, eg Bosch for the ADAS. But who did the actual in vehicle operating system / platform? It's highly unlikely that would have been Ineos themselves.

Neusoft Technology Solutions GmbH were the supplier partner for the infotainment system. I assume the code for the service reminder function exists within the head unit.
NTS is the European headquarters of the Neusoft Corporation of China. Neusoft is a global company, including two sites in the USA.

All of which means, nothing. It's a bug that will get fixed in due course. No need to rush into your service centre. Just keep driving your vehicle. Clear the messages via the TRIP button if they bother you.
Meantime write the date of your next due service on a label and stick it on your windscreen. Old school.
"Old school" hand written reminder stickers on the windscreen have been par for the course with the Brisbane dealer from day one😉💪

why are so many of you happy to accept nonsense.

Did we ever get an update on the diagnostic tool? Hopefully bidirectional. This matter would have easily been sorted out by owners. (and avoid yet another trip to an ineos service centre for a simple matter).
Why would you assume this would get fixed by a diagnostic tool? This is a software bug.

Can’t put sticker on the windshield. Grenadier windshield too narrow. Already spent $$$$ to maximize vertical view via Rosen Sun visor. Why should I corrupt that view further with a sticker in my FOV ?

It's a small sticker the size of 2 postage stamps on the inside of the windscreen in the very top rh corner (driver's side down under and the UK) so it's completely out of the normal line of site...

On another tack .
Am wondering if this snafu may be associated with software update xxxx689002940. It wasn't an issue 2023/2024 nor 2024/2025. Trouble is I can't quite remember when the xxx689002940 upgrade from xx689001936 was completed...🤔

Depends on what you class as a hostile State these days. A cunning plan to take conquer the West by messing with Grenadier service notifications???
At the very least, rampant intellectual property theft.
