Yes we have that provided at work.
That is big business here in Morocco. An extra battery and a cheap Chinese inverter is all they have.I am planning on using the Nato plug to power my coffee machine when i stop for a break.
Planning to put the machine on a slide out

Hi good point, i remember those guys in Morroco. My next business. That is big business here in Morocco. An extra battery and a cheap Chinese inverter is all they have.

The NATO socket outputs 12V DC (up to 14.4V DC if the engine is running) and is current limited to around 350 Amps which is the fuse rating. The overhead switch is labelled 500 Amps which is probably a momentary current for rear winching, which is the only endorsed use of the NATO socket.Ok so technically, if i had the proper transfer switch, like what I use for connecting my 12kw portable generator to my house, in case of a power failure, I could connect the NATO plug to power my house in and emergency?
Are you using your NATO plug to power a trailer whilst on the move?Just made my first projects. NATO with long lead and 175amp Anderson plug. Will mate with my Jumper leads with 175amp Anderson plug. So can use for jumping and also have a 175amp to standard Anderson plug so can just be used for an extension cord. Also a short NATO to standard Anderson for trailer power and compressor etc. Just waiting for my Deutsche DTP plugs to arrive and will make some various adapters etc for those. Probably Deutsche to Anderson, and Deutsche to cigarette sockets etc.

Where did you source your Deutsche plugs from?
check out Air-On-Board at Research in Victoria for Deutsch plugs. I bought a set of 10 DTP (12 gauge) -male and female with solid pins for $42 post included :Are you using your NATO plug to power a trailer whilst on the move?
I have also ordered the Agile Offroad plugs and would like to power my caravan. I believe there is a speed limitation of 80km/hr on the NATO plug power but wondering if there are any other limitations or gateways to ensure it will work whilst driving.
