Yes there is an option in the settings to flip the camera..

I've never seen that on mine. I downloaded and updated the software (via microSD card) the first time it powered up, so it could be a fix from that if you haven't updated.

I just mounted my rear camera under the third brake light rather than the inside rear door window. Super crisp and bright image on the Wolfbox screen.

I’ll admit that for the longest time I didn’t realize there was a clear lens protection film on the camera which did in fact make the picture dark. It was literally a night & day difference in clarity after I removed it

Ha yeah I removed that on the first drive when I realized the covering was making the image look like a layer of Vaseline
