Leaking diff this morning

Wow just wow, every time and I do mean every time I decide no Ineos is going in the right direction I will buy one this kind of crap pops up, you just couldn’t make this crap up..
Oil leaks special tools that nobody has and 600 nm on a hub nut
The comment above sums it up in one word UNBELIEVABLE
If you had to do it yourself you could with the right size socket, torque multiplier and torque wrench. The 600Nm torque or higher would be routine on large truck and tractor wheels I guess. Just that when this is done as a warranty repair they have to do it with Ineos approved kit I guess .

Very normal on heavy equipment. A 3/4" drive Tourqe wrench will do alot more than that.

I thought you'd be into a 1" for accuracy there. my 3/4 maxes at 600, and being at max isnt generally accurate. ... so the axle needs a 2000 buck wrnch for us shade tree's. nice.

Meh, harbor freight sells cheap 1" digital torque meters that go inline. Grab a decent 1" breaker bar and you are set. 600NM is only 442ftlbs.
