Hey @TheDocAUS , is there a category you're building which contains molle-compatible bags? I look at the ASPW overlander builds, and he's got molle-based bags and pouches galore over his vehicles, and I wonder where he gets them from?

Not so far, but I have searched for them.

GetGoodGear has some, SURVIVAL First Aids Kits (for First Aid of course), Miltac, 5.11, also motorbike shops and the Molle shop. Nazbag an Australian company has selection as well.

Looks like I have enough for a new heading.

Most of my bush clothing comes from 5.11. 5.11 Australia has a limited selection of Molle Bags here.

A new phone mount was gifted to me for the Cape trip.
My quad lock mount with magnet and charging, which has been perfect since install, was not appropriate for corrugated roads.
My travel companion produced this out of his magicians bag the first time my phone fell off the magnet mount. "I knew you'd need this"
A ram ball mount fits perfectly onto the screw mounts on the centre console panel.
Held my Galaxy 22 ultra very well through all conditions, just back to plug in charging.
My travel companion said they have plenty of tablet mounts a well, he uses them on boats.

@pedrogb I have one of those Fanaue phone holders, but the mounting hole on the mount I bought (another Fanaue product) is too big, so I need to reduce the diameter down by a bit through washers. What is the RAM mount you have? I'm assuming you're mounting it to the centre console using the decorative screws?

Ram 1 inch ball. Size is perfect for the screw holes already in place in panel, but I don't have heated seats. I think the arm is a d60
