For owners who have the interior carpet option, can you comment if there is less NVH than without the carpet?
I do realize that with carpet it won’t be easy to hose out the interior, it was wondering if it would be quieter inside.

I have the carpets and can confirm they do have a substantial, 20mm, built on foam underlay. But since I haven’t driven a rubber matted version I can't do a comparison. I would comment however that the front carpet is one piece between the driver and passenger side and requires the central console removed to take it out. As mine had issues with finding leaks the carpet was replaced by Ineos.

I have carpet but mine is also full of other stuff, boot has stuff in and I've made a cover using blanket and straps across the Bison baskets. Whenever I get a loaner from dealer it has the plastic floor and is noisy. I think it's more to do with my setup than the floor

Is the optional carpet on top of the “rubber floor” or in place of it?
You can have a rubber floor (like a giant fitted floor mats) or carpet. If you get either you can then get fitted carpet mats for front and rear. So with the rubber floor you can take out the carpet mats and easily hose/brush/blow/sweep it out, carpet is carpet so more of a brush or vac thing.
