Installed NEW Fox 2.0 ATS Steering Stabilizer June 2025

Deep insight is the last thing I expected. These are corporate types, company line is all that you get.
Ok, but you can see how your post was misleading or clickbait right!?! You acted like you had gleaned some juicy details and knew something us plebs couldn't possibly have known. Yet in the end you added no new information and stated well IA said no so I am not interested.

This is the most 10ply forum I think I have ever been a part of.

I’m still on the fence with the steering stabilizer. The stiff steering with the lack of return to center doesn’t bother me much. It’s the constant micro corrections on the highway that bother me most. I certainly can manage, but for longer drives I find myself taking one of my other vehicles. Can someone tell me how much improvement there is to the highway drive post-stabilizer? Thanks!

The original Tough Dog steering damper stiffness test I did was pushing on setting 1 to pushing on setting 9 compared to the removed factory damper, I just did a test after about 3000km, including 500km of that on dirt since fitting so definitely run in.
Setting 9 now that it is run in, "just tested a moment ago" is probably similar to the factory damper from memory, and setting 1 is what I leave it on on the road, and setting 3 on high speed dirt, so far so good.
When I did that test last week it was raining cats and dogs, I thought I put the steering damper on setting 9, but actually put it on setting 6, so setting 6 is about the same as factory, setting 9 is stiffer, you might use it if you buckled a rim or lost bearings in a swivel pin housing.
In setting 5 it drives realy well, I have been testing in setting 5 for the last week, and I have to admit it drives better than the factory damper on the highway, so yes I am pretty happy with the Tough Dog steering damper.

Big improvement, drives like a normal vehicle. Stops the constant fiddling at higher speeds.
