Just bought a station wagon. Grenadier Infotainment screen glitchy, for $80k would expect more. Is there an update that corrects this problem. Also when devices connect to hotspot, other audio functions not supported

Any help here is appreciated.

You have to get used to it.. like everything Gren, it takes time to warm to its character.. try using the screen in sunny conditions wearing polarised sunglasses…. You have to use “the force” to see in to its soul….

Residual or tracers of number changes on speedometer, then apps in CarPlay blurry then not, like glitchy
That is not normal.

There is no blur on mine. No residual numbers . The only thing I see that is "glitchy" is when sliding between the offroad screens, there is a moment when a legacy screen with yellow dials appears and vanishes before the later version appears. Its a pre-production screen that was replaced but is left in the code.

I second that’s not normal.

What is Grenadier normal, is the noticeable lag when selecting different menus. Sometimes if you know what screen has been selected and of the amount of clicks needed, you can select a function by just listening to the clicks….before the screen changes. I do this often when using the center wheel to turn off ADAS (Favorites/ADAS/Overspeed warning OFF).

I do not know how they did it but my dealer told me when I took it in a couple months ago, that they fixed the overspeed warning for me. He said start it, turn it off once, and I would never have to again. That has been the case for 2 months. I have not had to turn it off again. Seems someone knows something….

Hi everyone, would greatly appreciate any help here:

24’ stationwagon - stock except: safari windows, rear/front difflocks + I put in new AGM 95R (950/105) battery about 6 mos ago (pain in arse). Have had 2 years 15k miles*** Infotainment screen went completely blank a week ago, after a few days of very heavy rain. This has happened before but was able to quickly self correct.

This time, I’ve got nothing (gas? Speed? Who knows.) and a dealer appt 2 weeks out. Note, the unit does not activate - ie it’s not like on start it comes up and fails - it’s black.

I've already tried the various button resets. I’ve checked the main head fuse under ignition box.Im hoping to fix myself and not wait 2 weeks for dealer.

Why od, speed, fuel not a separate screen/gauge is beyond me.

I have not checked the gateway fuses behind the glove box yet (FI16/17 ?). Has anyone experienced a hung gateway module that a fuse pull would reset?

Thank you! Still love the Grenadier!

Sounds like a failed infotainment display to me, they aren't super common, but you wouldn't be the first
