Ineos does a 180 on Grenadier prices in U.S. amid signs of softer demand

This may be behind a paywall but basically the article just says Ineos is reducing US prices by 9.8% after a previous rise. This means the starting price went from $76,700 to $80,500, and now down to $72,600.

Well that’s a step in the right direction.

Adding Costco will bring exposure, but the challenge is that any new Costco buyer probably won’t be happy with either Ineos or Costco if their new Grenadier is riddled with gremlins.

IMO what Ineos should really do at this point, since they’ve probably saturated the die-hard crowd and have the Grey-Poupon 1912 version, is focus on a stripped version without any of the bells-and-whistles (literally) with an upper 50’s - lower 60’s starting price. Have everything manual. But that won’t happen, unfortunately.
