Increased Fuel Tank

Using just the replacement 37.7 gal main tank from Skyline would provide a great deal of additional range. I am seriously considering it. If it turns out to be rubbish the OEM tank could be put back in. I suspect getting the Euro version resonator center section for the exhaust will cost as much as the Skyline main tank .

Install instructions for the Skyline tanks at the link, go to page 4. I don't read Chinese/Mandarin but the images make it self explanatory. Not a difficult install especially for the main tank only.

Skyline is working on adjusting their tank to fit the US design. I am supposed to get a shipped/tariff cost this week.

Just heard from them. The main tank only will be $1,183 plus $452 for shipping and tariff to my Nevada address.

Totally worth trying for the cost. I am inclined to order both tanks. Install the main tank first and if there are no issues then go ahead with installation of the aux tank.

I wonder if shipping on both tanks would not be much more than the single tank shipment
