Hi Tom, did the dealer say how they fixed this for you? Was it a problem with the water pump? Or possibly software related?

Agreed. I had the super-hot rear condition 2-3 times over the Summer of 2024 and it was resolved by the dealer.

I'll need to pul lthe paperwork to see if they noted any details. I also had the drips on the drivers floor mat, so this fix entailed removing most of the dash.
 
I have a 2023 model Fieldmaster diesel that is going back to the workshop to try to remedy the problem of cold air flowing into the passenger's footwell. Has anyone else had similar problems and, if so, had them resolved?

They have already taken the recommended measures with grounding points and bled the air from the system.

What happens is that cold air flows from behind the glove compartment, and it seems to come directly from outside since it is not heated and the flow varies with the speed. It seems to depend on the fan speed as well – it's worst when the fan is on settings 1 or 2. If you manually increase the fan speed, less cold air comes out. I suspect that there is a flap or a similar component that is not closing properly.

When I drive in auto mode, everything is fine for the first ten minutes. Then the automatic system thinks the car is warmed up and lowers the fan speed. That's when cold air starts coming in (but only on the passenger side). The past week, it has been 4-7 degrees Celsius outside, and if I measure the temperature on some surfaces (seats, door side, etc.) with an IR thermometer, it is about five degrees Celsius colder on the passenger side.

Get under the passenger seat and check cabin filter whether there is any obstruction to the recirculating flap opening and closing. You can check by turning on/off the recirculating air button. Possible causes is that a strip of foam may have become detached from the cabin filter. Also open up the cowling outside next to windscreen and check for any debris or obstruction. I would check this first, no joy then dealer.
 
OK so I had some time to play with the HVAC system while I was waiting to pick someone up, here is the strangeness;
A/C - Doesn't work at all , button, no button doesn't get a little cold at all.

The truck was hot so I turned down the temp to cold but it was still burning coming out of the front vents, once I switches it to defrost the the temp came down and stayed down, even when switching back to face/floor.

There was no heat (or cool) coming out of the rear vents, nothing no matter what I did, so I put on the front demist and boom blowing out the rear vents even when I turned off the demist. WTH

This has to be the biggest pile of garbage HVAC I have ever seen in a car, my 79 911 had better HVAC and it used heat exchangers.

I have a huge list now and am booked for my first service at the end of the month but I am not hoping for much. Ineos should really be going back to Webasto and asking for a new system (retrofit) as HVAC systems have been working fine for over 50 year in vehicles, and this is supposed to be an overland vehicle. It's like it's built with pulley's and strings. Don't get me started on no fan at all at times of extreme cold...
