How was your dealer experience?

First off, I love the vehicle. No complaints.

However, the dealer experience was bizarre. How was yours?

My sense was that, as a new brand, Ineos struggles to attract talent at the dealer level. After all, why would a great salesperson, GM etc. join a company where they're effectively guaranteeing a fraction of the volume/commission they'd find across the street?

Purchasing dealer - Regal Ineos in Georgia - Fantastic experience. Knowledgable staff on the product, great space, awesome communication, and a no questions asked pick up from the airport, even during morning rush hour

Serviced at:
- RDS in Pennsylvania - Also, knowledgable service staff, decent waiting area, and always accomplished what they stated during service
- MileOne in Maryland - Sales staff has a mix of experience and actual use of the product, probably more so by now. Upper management is engaged in the product and moving the brand and dealer forward. Service management is experienced and knowledgable, but they've had a hard time keeping good techs

I had no “local” dealer in my area so I had a choice between Portland Oregon or one of two in Southern California. Oregon was 2 hours farther but a far more pleasant drive. So I opted for the Oregon Dealership which doubles as a Ferrari and Maserati store.

The dealer experience was pretty straightforward, my intention was to wire them the payment for my Trialmaster a few days ahead of time, fly in and drive it home. As I was preparing the payment the dealership’s F&I guy who was handling the Grenadier sales mentioned they were offering 2.9% for 50 months, which rivals my home mortgage as a gift from the Grenadier gods so I took it.

I wound up wiring the dealership what amounted to the taxes, fees and payment for side steps, floor mats, and their commission for handling the sale. I flew in 2 days later and picked up my Trialmaster and spent three days making my way South on backroads giving it an old fashioned break in.

Let the MOD's begin now :) welcome to the club..

Sierra Ineos in Irvine was good when I purchased mine. Had a couple of issues but they got sorted out. What happened with your dealer?

I had a very good sales experience and service experience (software update) with RDS. I expect the one year service later this year to be the same. No complaints.

Price Family in Marin, CA was amazing, and hung in there for months upon months, for the pre-sale to sale. Their service is amazing and Jason the Service Manager is all-in on Ineos, sets up events, and comes out when he can to other local functions. Very happy with them. Wish they weren’t 4 hours away.

Rusnak (Pasadena, CA) was great and has remained so - very happy both with purchase and vehicle servicing. They handle many luxury brands so understand customer service well.

I will second what @Nadir5 said.

Our truck was one of the first Rusnak delivered... so, sure, there were a few growing pains. Both the sales and service people quickly got it all figured out and the service has remained exemplary.

What dealer out of curiosity?

Rusnak Pasadena purchased and serviced.

Sales experience was good. I got a fair deal. They made sure to update the software before delivery which delayed driving off the lot by one day which was totally the right decision.

Service experience has been good as well thus far. Service rep is pretty responsive via text which is a plus. Got denied fixing the power steering pump squeal which is more of an IA thing than local dealership. They provided a loaner when doing a 900 mile engine oil change without any fuss which is much appreciated.

The IG has more definitely been the most non-trouble-free new car I've purchased which isn't a surprise. I would definitely not own one if I didn't live near a service center or if I read about shoddy customer service.

RDS in Devon/Philadelphia….Very nice facility, service/parts guys seem to have a good knowledge and are accommodating so far…..Too early for me to give a full review yet as I only have 1000 miles…but so far the experience has been better then a lot of other major manufacturers dealerships I’ve bought from.
