I want to install the wolfbox mirror/cameras but how do I remove the old one from the windscreen 2023 car 1st gen with no lane departure someone told b}me just turn it anti clockwise 45 degrees is that correct? Is there a grub screw I’m haven’t spotted, really don’t want to break the windscreen. Please advise. (Everything I can find is for the later version)
Thanks

I have removed mine in my 23 car with a chassis number in the 2000's. If I remember correctly it was a quarter turn but it was stiff to start. I can send a photo of the removed mirror so you can see the back if it will help you.

If you want to remove both mirror and arm then yes, you turn the arm anti clockwise but you will probably need to use a pair of grips and protect the finish on the arm with a cloth or something similar.

Thanks for the confirmation, I have the wolfbox arm and adapter so hopefully it goes well.

That would be great just to confirm everything

Hi @joejet

Just checking that you know the Wolfbox arm supplied with their mount kit is not suitable for the MY23 Grenadier? It's a generic D-tab (slide on) arm, whereas the Grenadier uses a twist lock stud.
If you haven't already planned for this I would sort out a suitable replacement arm before you remove the arm from your windscreen. It's not a hard job but not one you want to repeat unnecessarily.

More info in my post here, including a suitable arm that will adapt the Wolfbox backing plate to the Grenadier windscreen stud.

Are you sure, even for the 2023 1st gen model without the lane departure camera?
What stops it working?
