Front Grommet in wiper tray

Never knew mine were missing until I washed the truck last night. My local Lowe's only have white in stock, so Amazon here I come.

I got 19mm blanking grommets from Jenkins rubber shop online. They are in cairns Australia. Perfect fit. Tricky to squeeze in. Got the top in first then pushed the bottom flush. Dropped the first one through but got it second time. I reckon they look nicer than the factory ones.

$1.70 each.

Inspected my caps after reading others posts. They were indeed loose and suspect the plugs changed dimension slightly once exposed to direct sunlight and a few heat/cooling cycles. I used a few dabs of Permatex Black Silicone and after curing they are nice and secure now.

There are a three square snap in covers as well. They feel a bit more secure but if they get loose I’ll give them the same silicone treatment. Just some small dabs of silicone no need to overkill it.
