Floor mats

The boot mat is absolutely terrible. Extremely thin, light weight, does not lay flat, slides around. In contrast, I love the OEM rubber mats for the footwells. They are at least twice as thick as the weather tech boot mats and similar quality to floor mats in my wife's Range Rover. I really had high hopes for WT, it's a shame because I loved their products until now.
Interesting... I too have the OEM floor mats, and was considering swapping out to WT's as I think the added coverage is significant. I do really like the quality of the OEM mats tho... They remind me of the Land Rover mats from my Diso 1

Has anyone found a 3rd party floor mat that fits really well? My boot heels are wearing a hole in the floor. I need to get some mats.
Yeah, I had the same issue with my old mats wearing through under my heel. I ended up grabbing a decent set from a local auto shop, nothing fancy, just thick rubber with a bit of texture so they don’t slide around. They’ve held up great so far and were easy to trim for a perfect fit.

I have the rubber mats from Ineos and I'm already getting a hole in it where my heel goes. I'm an exclusive sneaker guy and it makes no sense to me that a sneaker can wear out a rubber mat. Haven't happened on any other vehicle I own. I assume I can't get it replaced on warranty?

Maybe going down a 58 degree decline, digging your heels in and screaming “oh s**t oh s**t oh s**t” is the problem - maybe it’s not the mats. With the amount of mods you do, that is probably the level of insanity.
