Has anyone tried to test drive Trialmaster edition as well? I am wondering how All-Terrain KO2 tires perform on highway and if I need to swap them for normal daily usage.

I have the KO2 here in Oz and have done quite a bit of highway and no problems but they are the European Version that came with the Gren. I was told by my BF Goodrich dealer that I won't have the same mileage as our Oz spec ones, so it seems the European KO2s are a little softer and maybe have a different rating...would pay to talk to your BFG dealer to see if it is the same issue there (y)

Ive driven both with the ko2 and the ‘standard’ tyres, hard to know how much difference is tyres vs the individual cars, but there’s nothing earth shattering. Ko2 clearly a little less at home on tarmac, much more so off.
BUT, if you are paying for diff locks, the ko2 are basically free, which includes how they affect the trialmaster pack.

I’m not sure what ill replace them with, and if I had room id like 2 sets of wheels, but I dont really get why most people would get rid of them immediately; they are perfectly good, and strong, and worth ‘using up’. If you’re 100% specialist user of course thats different, but almost all of us have varied uses for our grenadier. These tyres seem to suit that really well.

I have them on mine and did around 400 kms or 250 miles on motorway, highway and country highway in the dry. They are great. Ranged from 80-140 kmh (50-87 MPH) and they weren't noisy or harsh
I have the 17" rims. Haven't had any rain for a fair while so no idea in the wet.

Blowing over $2K for "another tyre" is senseless and a great contributor to waste. K02 will outperform what 99% of drivers can actually do in a vehicle. It's like my old motor bike rider friends who would throw on some nice soft Pirellis and couldn't get within an inch of touching peg to ground...

I own a Trialmaster and have done 7000kms so far, several thousand on highway. They seem fine.

Thank you all for your replies! very helpful. I will stick with KO2 and will see how many miles I will be able to get from them.

1050km on just over a week on my diesel Gren with K02 - absolutely fine on the bitumen (albeit they make some road noise similar to any other off road tyre). The road to my home is quite windy and they stick as well as the wife's CX5 on Jax tyres (not that I'm driving like a lunatic 😇 ). K02 will remain on my truck until im forced to swap.

I drove 12000km Most on high way with18“ BFG KO2. At the front tires is the profil outside 3mm less thickness as at the inner side. Is it normal for a so heavy 4x4?
