My girlfriend loves the look of the OEM fender plates and I agreed with her until I noticed the stainless rivets in the fender on the black plates. Is there any better options out there and can you please post photos?

GP Factor makes some really nice thicker aluminum ones that don’t require rivets. I installed them on my vehicle and I like the clean look better compared to the factory plates.

Those look really good. Thank you I will check them out.

I would just use VHB. Most likely, use PPF and then VHB the plate down. I cannot bring myself to drill holes.

Do the tape down plates still increase the weight bearing like the riveted plates do?

Went thru the same decision process. Realized silver rivets make it look even more utilitarian. lol

OEM all day, every day!

Ive wrapped most my hold with satin black to eliminate glare from the hood. It holds up ok but its not durable enough to set things on or stand on it without it being scratched.
I guess I didn't think they were actually functional that area feels kinda week in general and I haven't stood on it.
