Ext1 wiring for S2 BD bumper lights

Do I need a special harness or can I use the one recommended by BD and just unplug the switch?

I didnt use the harness that was included with my baja design lights because i didnt want to deal with the switch attached to that harness. I purchased the baja extension harness, its just 2 wires.
